At Aspire, we have learned something important over the years. The most powerful conversations rarely happen when a room is filled with women who look the same, think the same and have travelled similar paths through life. The most powerful conversations happen when women from different backgrounds, cultures, professions, communities and generations come together around a shared desire to make the world better.
Some women arrive as CEOs, founders and senior leaders. Others are teachers, healthcare workers, students, parents, carers, artists, community volunteers, entrepreneurs, shop assistants or women navigating significant life transitions. Some have influence, resources and networks. Others bring lived experience, fresh perspectives and insights that no amount of professional success can replicate. Together they create richer conversations, stronger ideas and more meaningful connections than any group could create alone
Complimentary Access Places
Over the years, some of the women who have made the greatest impact at Aspire events have come through our access places. Their experiences, ideas, questions and perspectives have challenged assumptions, sparked new thinking and helped create exactly the kind of diverse, thought provoking and inspiring rooms we want to build.
Aspire is centred on women and the important role women can play in helping create a better world. We also warmly welcome men who share this vision and want to be part of the conversation. What matters most is not profession, status, income, education or influence. What matters is caring about the world we are creating and wanting to make a positive contribution to it.
That is why we make several complimentary places available at every event. These places are not based on qualifications, job titles or achievement. They exist because we believe the strongest conversations happen when people from different walks of life come together around ideas that matter.
Join Us
If the cost of attending would prevent you from joining us, we would love to hear from you. Please do not feel you need to impress us. We are not looking for polished applications, perfect language, impressive credentials or extraordinary accomplishments. A few sentences is enough.
Simply tell us a little about the event you want to attend and why. We are not judging spelling, grammar, writing ability, education or job titles. We want to understand who you are and help create a room filled with a rich mix of experiences, perspectives and voices.
Because the world does not need more people who think alike. It needs better conversations and better conversations begin with better rooms.
