Aspire: Pioneering Change Leadership for a Human-Centred Future

Our Story

Aspire began as a bold idea in the early 2000s: to create a space where women leaders could thrive in a world that often overlooked their potential. We were the first pioneering organisation in the UK to focus on coaching and leadership development specifically for women leaders, breaking new ground in an era when gender equality was rarely part of the leadership conversation.

Founded by Dr Sam Collins, one of the UK’s earliest professional coaches, Aspire was born from a deep conviction, that leadership should be inclusive, purposeful, and transformative. Sam started Aspire after recognising the urgent need for a different kind of leadership one that values diversity and human connection.

Our Evolution

From those early days, Aspire has grown into a global movement with a proven track record of impact. We’ve worked with thousands of individuals and organisations worldwide, delivering programmes, coaching, and events that have changed careers, cultures, and communities. Our history gives us credibility; our results give us confidence. And now, as the world faces unprecedented complexity, our mission is more critical than ever, to create 1 Million Change Leaders by 2030.

Today, Aspire is leading the way with Gender Equality for the Human Era, a modern, inclusive approach that embraces men, women, and gender-diverse individuals. We’ve developed a Collective Intelligence framework that equips leaders and organisations to harness diversity, psychological safety, and collaboration to solve complex challenges. This is not about “fixing women” or token inclusion; it’s about building systems where everyone can thrive.

Looking ahead

This is a natural next step for Aspire. It builds on everything we've learned over the past 25 years while responding to what the world needs now.

We're bringing together practical transformation with a deeper understanding of human potential, helping create leaders who can handle today's challenges while staying human and making a real difference.
